The New PicoBNC+ NVH Diagnostics Kit is a powerful solution to identify Noise, Vibration and Harshness faults. The new BNC+ version of this tool frees up channels on the oscilloscope meaning that we can now measure 3-axis of acceleration on one channel, where before we needed three channels!

This is the 'Standard' kit which inlcudes:

By ustilising vehicle data for Engine Speed RMP, and Vehicle Speed, the software can calculate if the vibrations or noises are tied to engine or driveline frequencies. It uses the J2534 protocol to send this essential data to the Pico Diagnostics NVH software.

1. Measure
Accelerometers and microphones capture vibration and sound data during a road test or static run-up.
 
2. Identify
The software matches frequencies to vehicle components — wheels, engine orders, propshaft, bearings — and tells you which one is responsible.
 
3. Confirm
Objective data replaces subjective opinion. Show the customer the measurement, compare against a known-good baseline, and proceed with confidence.
 
4. Verify
After the repair, re-test with the same setup. The data proves the fix worked — to you and to the customer.
